USE CASES

Safe Design Solutions for Developing Capped Landfills with PVFARM

Designing on top of a capped landfill or land containing buried hazardous materials requires careful planning to avoid disturbing the dangerous materials beneath. When developing such sites, agreements often prohibit cutting or digging beyond a specified depth to protect the integrity of the environmental cap that seals hazardous substances.

The PVFARM automatically enforces depth limits, flags potential violations, and provides a real-time cut-fill map to architects, engineers, and contractors, helping them design safely and efficiently without risking environmental contamination. This allows for seamless compliance with safety regulations, while also optimizing land use for development.

IMPROVEMENTS

LV Wiring for the Fixed-Tilt Systems

This enhancement streamlines the integration of low-voltage wiring for fixed-tilt systems, improving the efficiency and ease of installation.

This improvement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, user-friendly solutions to meet your evolving project needs.

LV wiring for both FT and SAT systems on the Layout

This update allows to seamlessly integrate and manage low-voltage wiring across mixed system types in a single project layout. Easily combine Fixed-Titl (FT) and Single-Axis Tracker (SAT) systems within the same layout and generate LV wiring for both system types simultaneously.

Comparison process

We are pleased to announce the Version Comparison via the List of Versions, along with an Updated User Interface to enhance usability and efficiency.

Select any version from the list and compare it directly with the current version, allowing for better tracking of changes and improvements. Enjoy a cleaner, more intuitive experience with the updated interface.

This update offers a more efficient way to track project iterations and ensures users can quickly identify differences between versions, helping to streamline workflows and improve decision-making.

Civil3D and QGIS terrain support

This enhancement allows users to seamlessly import and work with terrain data from GeoTIFF files generated by both Civil3D and QGIS software.

Import GeoTIFF terrain data directly into the PVFARM without the need for manual conversion or using the Plugin.

Export terrain to DFX

This functionality enables users to export terrain data as 3D faces directly into a DXF file, enhancing interoperability with Civil3D and other design tools. This export method efficiently handles large terrain surfaces, making it ideal for projects with extensive topography and complex landscapes.

Navigation Toolbar. Perspective mode

The toolbar now includes a visible tool to switch between common view and perspective mode. This allows users to easily identify and toggle between the two views. With this feature, users have greater control over their viewing experience, making it easier to visualize project layouts from different angles.
