May 2024 Updates
Spring is in full swing and with the May flowers we are bringing a couple of improvements and updates to PVFARM.
Use Cases
Basin simulation
Create your own basins in PVFARM. Just set specific boundaries and the net balance target. Experiment with your grading strategies to find what works best for your Site.
Shading objects simulation
Place a shading object in your layout and get shading based on nearby objects on your site. Dive into specific areas to evaluate how Shading object affects your energy.
Improvements
Civil 3D Plugin
A new version of the plugin with a digital signature is available! Please approve the digital certificate following your security processes.
Project Metrics update
Metrics broken up by subareas are here! Just select subareas you’re interested in and export a report to Excel.
Energy
Get your energy using meteo input data validation and you’ll be able to see the resulting performance here:
Shading improvement
The accuracy of shading calculations is increased. Now we more accurately account for losses due to near shading.
Fixed Tilt improvement
We improved the Fixed-tilt configuration. You will have the ability to play with leftover mods and let some PV modules be out of electrical strings while still installed on the frame. Enjoy having more variability in your racking systems.
Navigation & Toolbar Improvement
We updated the Navigation and Toolbar. Find Dashboard, Help Center, Get Assistance, and Save button in their new locations. Enjoy the order on the toolbar. All items are cleaned and sorted.
Autoblocking improvements + Subareas
Repower your layouts by Subareas with our improved experimental blocking algorithm. Play with different equipment and constraints per each subarea to find the best fit.
LV wiring by specific blocks
We improved the Low Voltage menu. Route LV wiring by specific blocks and enjoy the granularity of your layouts.
And many more targeted updates for our clients 🌞
The number of our clients is growing and we are grateful to everyone for their contribution to the development of PVFARM. Thanks to our partners for their help in achieving these great results!
